Les Caves Saint-Gilles, tapas, tapas and more tapas. There are two P’s that I like to eat. The first, I think you know what it is, and the second is pimientos de padrón. So after a huge hangover, I needed to fulfill one of my passions, and failing to fulfill one, I chose the other.
So here I am at Caves Saint Gilles, a temple of Spanish cuisine a stone’s throw from Place des Vosges. Over there, tapas come in all shapes and sizes. From the classic patatas bravas and pon con tomato to the more elaborate piquillos rellenos de bacalao (peppers stuffed with cod), there’s something for everyone, but one thing’s for sure: it’s delicious. And what’s more, it’s not expensive! 4 to 5 plates of tapas for 2 are enough. For aficionados, they also offer paella to share.
Tapas between 6,5 and 14,5€ / Paëllato share between 22€ and 24€/person
