The Parisian Italian chain by excellence, Big Mamma, offers a range of atmospheres and tastes that transport you to Italy with its seven restaurants scattered across the capital . Libertino is Big Mamma’s little black swan: subdued lighting, intimate atmosphere, velvet-draped walls… The decor is reminiscent of a hidden bar from the 90s, and every detail is meticulously crafted, from the great room to the toilets. We were able to try two “napoletana” pizzas, the restaurant’s specialty: the pizza dough is baked on the spot after having rested for 48 hours. While the “mammargherita” was a bit banal, the “moment of truffle” is certainly one of the best we’ve tasted. Dessert was phenomenal: we ate an XXL profiterole, a real favorite. The only downside: the queue once you’re there ! Make sure you have a reservation so you don’t have to wait an hour or two!
